AT&T Appoints 2,000 More Employees for IPhone Launch
Much awaited iphone is scheduled to lunch at 29th of this month and distributor AT&T Inc. is not leaving any stone unturned to make it viable for the cell phone lovers.

AT&T Inc. has hired additional 2,000 temporary store workers to handle the much-hyped introduction of the iPhone, the first cell phone from leading gadget maker Apple Inc. AT&T is the only distributor, who is offering the device. Iphone will be start selling after 6 p.m. local time in cities across the country.

Apple Inc, which is known for ipod and Apple Macs, is foraying into the cell phone market through iphone, which it announced in January this year, combines a music and video player with a Web browser and a touch-sensitive screen in place of a keyboard.

AT&T sales staff has received 100,000 hours of training to present the device significantly. Iphone will be available on its all 162 retail stores on June 29. Buyers can also get iphone online as Apple is providing the facility to their brand lover, whereas AT&T will sell only in its stores at launch.

AT&T is pressing iPhone customers to sign a two-year contract, but it still didn’t revealed the service fees it will charge iPhone customers yet.

The iPhone will cost $500 or $600, depending on the storage space in the phone.
